Perfect Scissors by Karen Kay Buckley ~ 4" or 7.5"
This special serrated blade pulls the fabric into the scissors rather than pushing it alway like traditional scissors. Things you will love about these are the cushioned handle, easy for right or left hander to use, blades sharp to the very tip, serrated blade keeps fabric from fraying, light weight and comfortable. The 4" size are great for detail cutting on curves and points. The 7 1/2" size are great for cutting single or mutiple layers of fabric. See both in 'Our Favourite Applique Tools'.

Thermore is the thinnest batt on the market and the only polyester batt that is guaranteed not to beard. Made especially for quilted clothing, miniatures, and other projects when an extremely thin and drapable batt is desired. To be honest, the day it arrived at Threadbear, we opened up a packet to have a good look and feel of the batt and couldn't believe how thin it was. Despite feeling awful at first touch, once it is sandwiched between a quit top and backing it is EXTREMELY easy to needle and you will have no trouble achieving small even quilting stitches. It drapes beautifully machine washes well, and is very light to handle - perfect for any quilt with lots of seams. When we discussed it at our November meeting of the Castlemaine Applique Group, several of our members said they highly recomended Thermore for hand quilting and wouldn't use anything else!
