Our Friends
The Central Victorian Chapter of The Applique Society
Saturday, February 13th Roundup
What a lovely day was had by all!! Megan came up with the theme Pink Chocolate & decked out the place with gorgeous Bright pink balloons and lollies in pink & chocolate. Lucky door prize winners went home with pink & brown fabrics!
Guest Speaker was Virginia Enright, international teacher, prize winning quilt maker, and author of "Tiny Treasures". Although Virginia is well known for her miniatures, she also makes beautiful large quilts both by hand and machine and hand quilts many of them. She is also fondly known by us as 'The Bag Lady' as she designs and makes many very appealing bags and has been a special friend of Threadbear for many, many years.
Another record-breaking attendance with 57 seats being filled -- imagine how fabulous our shared lunch was in Threadbear's courtyard!
NEXT MEETING DATE: Saturday May 22nd, 2010.
