A Tribute to Mrs. Williams

 This is a faithful reproduction of a quilt from the mid 1800s. It is interesting to make as a range of techniques including hand appliqué, hand and machine piecing are used in the variety of these 7½” blocks. One of the best parts of making this quilt was selecting the fabrics for it. Over 150 different reproduction prints were used in the quilt top. The original quilt can be seen in the book ‘The American Quilt’ by Roderick Kiracof.
